Superior Camp Groups:

This programme is specially designed for foreign students who would like to improve their English or Mandarin in the shortest time possible, while taking the time to learn more about Singapore’s culture and tour Singapore. It is an opportunity for students to develop their English or Mandarin Conversational skills in a stimulating environment that encourages language enrichment and development. Holiday English Course

Objectives 

This course aims to improve foreign students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English within the shortest time, with the help of our dedicated teachers who are very experienced in teaching English language.

Lesson Time 

A: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
B: Monday to Friday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
C: Monday to Friday, 9 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Course Certification 

Certificate will be awarded upon passing the examination.

We have highly qualified teachers who are dedicated and responsible. Our teachers who are experienced in their teaching subject are also very amicable and caring.

SCI offers quick guidance and efficient learning during the holiday to brush up the students' language skills in areas such as:

Future Study Prospects for our Students

 

Graduates from SCI have many opportunities to further their studies. We will do our best in assisting students in advancing their studies, creating a better future for them.

  • Students under 16 years old can enter Singapore Government Primary or Secondary schools. They can also enter American, English, Canadian or Australian schools etc. that are based in Singapore to enter the universities of the respective countries in the future.
     
  • Students above 16 years old can enroll in Singapore government polytechnics, professional technical institutes of universities or private schools, Singapore universities or overseas school branch of foreign universities based in Singapore, pursuing diplomas or degrees. They can then go abroad for advanced courses after they graduate.
     
  • Students above 16 years old can also enroll directly in graduate and postgraduate courses in countries of Europe, America and Australia.
     
  • Students holding on to degrees can carry on doing their Masters degree in Singapore universities, or other overseas universities.

 

  

The advantages SCI’s graduates have in furthering studies in Europe, America and Australia:

  • After the English Language fundamental skills are established, it will be easier for the student to adapt to the environment of Europe, America and Australia. After coming to Singapore, a bilingual society, and doing a relatively long English Language training course in SCI, students will find it easier to further their studies in graduate and postgraduate courses in countries where only the English Language is used.
  •  
  • After gaining some knowledge of the western culture, it will be much easier for students to adapt to the lifestyle of western countries. Singapore is a society where the eastern and western cultures co-exist, hence after students have adapted to the environment here, they will not experience much culture shock when they go to other western countries, allowing the students to adapt easily and concentrate on their studies.
  •  
  • A lot of universities in Europe, America and Australia provide great opportunities for students to further their studies. SCI has alliance with more than 100 universities in these countries and provides our graduates with many potential choices of quality schools and universities.
  • High rate of visa application approval allows students a high chance of advancing their studies in Europe, America and Australia successfully. For overseas studies, the application of visa and interviews conducted in Singapore will stand a better chance of success as compared to doing so in their native countries.
  •  
  • With SCI’s vast experience, we will help graduates in applying for scholarships based on their individual circumstances. We also provide recommendation to schools in countries with relatively lower school fees and living costs and/or internship/part-time job opportunities if graduates were to face financial difficulties.
