Foreign Language Training Course For ITE Students

 

Objectives  

Spring College International offers conversational courses for Mandarin, Japanese, Korean and German. The course is specially designed for students who wish to self-improve, pick up a new language and make good use of the new skill to help them in their work, or to enhance their own employability. This course will provide one of the most effective, practical, affordable and fun ways to learn a new language. It aims to introduce the proper speech and pronunciation to enable the students to carry out conversations in another language. We will guide students to engage in conversations by training them to form sentences with proper structures. The course places much emphasis on improving the ability of the learners to use the newly-learned language to converse with their friends of other races/nationalities

A. Exam preparation Classes

Course Outline  

• Grammatical rules
• Adjectives include topics on Nouns (gender and number)
• Definite and indefinite articles, regular and irregular verbs
• Descriptions
• Proper sentences in right structures
• Using the language, learn and practice vocabulary during the course session
• Asking for and giving personal information
• Giving personal details, telephone number, asking where and when an event will take place
• Talking about your family, daily routines and hobbies
• Asking for and giving directions and information in places such as: town, hotels, airport, etc.
• Introducing someone formally and informally, ask and give information on work, learning how to fill in forms, make phone calls (e.g. with clients), narrating events and shopping
• Carrying out short conversation

Course Materials  

Course Materials and Textbooks are compulsory and at a minimal fee. Material fees are subjected to change depending on the level.

Frequency of lessons  

Twice a week, each lesson lasting 2 hours
- 20 Lessons (Complete in 2.5 months)

*Lesson schedule and detailed course contents can be specially designed to meet the differing needs of various schools.

Course Certification  

There will be an examination at the end of the lesson and after which, certification by SCI will be awarded.

We have highly qualified teachers who are dedicated and responsible. Our teachers who are experienced in their teaching subject are also very amicable and caring. The teachers are either native speakers who can also converse in English to facilitate explanation, or highly experienced and qualified local teachers.
