 Secretarial Course In Mandarin

Objectives 
This course is specially designed to cater to companies who have correspondences/ working partners in China and need their employees to be able to communicate Mandarin as well as be able to carry out secretarial duties in Mandarin in order to facilitate the company’s business. Other than helping a great deal in the China market, this course not only improves the Mandarin language skills for use in the business world, but also perfects students’ competence in Mandarin.
Ultimately, this course will introduce the Chinese characters to allow students to listen, speak, read and write Mandarin in the correct grammatical rules and proper sentence structures. At the end of the course, students will be expected to be able to listen and communicate fluently in Mandarin, read and write around 1800 Chinese characters and Chinese texts of relatively long length. Students will be equipped with secretarial skills to deal with business in the mandarin context, prepare reports and business-related documents in Mandarin.

All levels of Mandarin Business-letter Writing classes will include the following aspects:

Course Materials 
Course Materials and Textbooks are compulsory and at a minimal fee. Material fees are subjected to change depending on the level.
Frequency of lessons 
Twice a week, each lesson lasting 2 hours
- 20 Lessons (Complete in 2.5 months)
*Lesson schedule and detailed course contents can be specially designed to meet the differing needs of various organisations.
Course Certification
There will be an examination at the end of the lesson and after which, certification by SCI will be awarded.

Requirements 
Elementary level – No requirement
For intermediate and advanced level - sit for a placement test/interview to assess your mandarin proficiency.
