Skills Development Fund (SDF)  

The Skills Development Fund (SDF) is one of the funds managed by WDA. It was established in 1979 with the primary objective to encourage employers in upgrading the skills of the workforce. The SDF help employers develop a strong training culture which encourages workers to upgrade their skills, and raise their prospects for advancement and future employment by offering assistance as an incentive to companies to mount training programmes for employees. The SDF plays a vital role in helping the workforce meet global challenges in today’s changing employment landscape which seeks a larger base of well-trained employees. This furthers the goal of equipping workers with the necessary capabilities to sustain Singapore's competitiveness and economic growth.

Spring College International As A Registered Training Provider  

Spring College International, being a registered member, has some courses which are approved by SDF. When enrolling for these courses, you can then apply for the SDF; providing financial support for the course. With this fund, companies which do not have sufficient budget to be set aside for the training of employers can still enroll their employees for a training course, allowing them upgrade their skills, constituting to better work performance in the future. This will definitely be beneficial for the company. We believe that by having our courses approved will be highly useful for many companies and individuals who wish to take up our courses.
