Enrollment to Singapore Government Secondary school for foreign students

Foreign students who intend to study in Singapore government secondary schools will be required to take entrance tests for English and Mathematics, before the school will decide if the student is suitable for enrolment. However, this will be subjected to the availability of vacancies in the school.

Knowing the benefits of furthering studies in Singapore, Spring College International is glad to offer our help to foreign students aged 12-16 years old who wish to enroll into a Singapore government secondary school. Upon engagement of this service with Spring College International, we will ensure that necessary application procedures will be handled carefully to ease your enrolment process. With our experience in this service, we will try our best to provide successful entry to the schools.

Most students will come to Singapore and opt for a package, taking up a preparatory course at SCI before enrolling in a secondary school . This course will train the students in English and Mathematics, preparing them for the secondary school entrance tests. After which, SCI will help to source for secondary schools for the student to enroll into. However, if the student is already proficient in English, we can still offer the service to help you enroll into a secondary school without taking the preparatory course.

In the event that you register for the package, if the student is unable to obtain an average score for the test and cannot gain entrance to the government school as a result, and needs to continue taking courses at SCI, a 50% discount would be given for the subsequent course fees.

Requirements

To apply for education in Secondary schools in Singapore, students must be above 11 years old and have at least completed their Primary school education. They would be highly advised to attend the “Preparatory Course for Admission to Secondary School” offered by SCI. This is to get them fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to pass the admission test required by the schools. Upon passing the test, admission will be granted. Else, they will have to continue the preparatory course in SCI and go for a re-test.
