 English Course(Business)
Objectives 
This course aims to improve students’ English proficiency and meet each student’s needs in the business context. Thus, at the end of it, students will be expected to be able to listen and communicate fluently in English, read and write memos, job applications, e-mails and reports. After this course, students will be able to handle situations within the business-context better, communicate well with business partners and thus, be assured of good opportunities of improvement at work.
Course Outline 
Developing an awareness of language and tone in business correspondence
1) Improves your general English skills

An introduction to grammar, speech, summary skills, basic report and letter writing, business correspondence and resume writing
2) Enhances English language skills through a study of the basic principles behind good customer relationships (communication and listening)

3) Discovers the verbal and non-verbal skills that result in powerful and effective presentations, as well as the key negotiation skills

Lesson Time 
Each level consists of 16 lessons of 1.5 hours or
8 lessons of 3 hours
- Each level will take 2 months to complete
- Preferred schedule can be discussed further

Requirements 
For students who wish to join Business English Course, there is a need to sit for a placement test/interview to assess your English proficiency.
Course Materials 
Course Materials and Textbooks are compulsory and at a minimal fee. Material fees are subjected to change depending on the level.

Course Certification 
Students can receive a certificate by SCI upon completion of the course. Whether or not to take an examination at the end of the course is optional.
