Preparatory Course For GCE 'A' Level Examination

 

General Information

The English-language based Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level exam is a critical certification, and is taken by students who wish to gain admission to the renowned Universities in Singapore or other countries such as the United Kingdom, United States of America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada etc. Certificates for the ‘A’ levels are awarded by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate.


Objectives

This is a composite course comprising of subjects which focus on General Paper, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry topics, as they are the drivers for knowledge in the new economy and the core subjects of the examination. The combination of subjects may be customized to suit individual student’s needs and interest in the areas they would like to further their studies on. This course will ensure that students will be fully equipped with the right knowledge in tackling the questions during the GCE ‘A’ Level examination, feel confident and perform well.


Course Outline

As mentioned earlier, we offer a series of subjects for students to choose from in order to fulfill the requirement to complete the examination for an ‘A’ Level Certification. Subjects offered are:

  •     General Paper
  •     Mathematics
  •     Physics
  •     Chemistry

- Students will be encouraged to have an open-discussion on the topics covered for the syllabus

- In-class assignments will be done for students to practice on concepts and application

- Regular tests will be conducted to access the student’s level of understanding and progress

Course Materials are compulsory and at a minimal fee.

Requirement

Students must be at least 17 years old and have completed their secondary school education to be able to sit for the ‘A’ Level examination.
