About Marketing Course
Why Marketing?
Marketing today is far more than advertising — it’s a discipline combining consumer psychology, data analytics, digital platforms, and brand strategy. Whether for traditional businesses or fast-growing digital brands, marketing professionals are in high demand across every industry. Singapore’s role as a regional headquarters for many international companies makes marketing skills especially valuable.
Our Two-level Progression
Our Marketing qualifications are designed as a progressive pathway. You can join at the level that matches your current education and career stage, and continue upward as your career grows:
Diploma
Covers foundational marketing knowledge — principles of marketing, digital marketing and analytics, customer experience and communications — alongside core business subjects in law, economics, accounting, information systems, and management. Ideal entry point for those new to marketing.
Advanced Diploma
Builds on the Diploma with deeper marketing expertise — modern marketing principles, social media management, social media monitoring and analytics, and integrated social media channels. Prepares you for marketing management positions and supports progression to bachelor’s degree programmes.
What Makes Our Programme Different
Flexible study modes
Full-time for immersive learning, or part-time evening/weekend classes for working professionals — same qualification, different schedule to suit your life.
Six intakes per year
Start in January, March, May, July, September, or November — flexibility to match your timeline rather than wait for fixed term dates.
Stackable Qualifications
Diploma graduates can progress directly into our Advanced Diploma, with seamless credit recognition between levels — grow your qualifications step by step rather than committing upfront.
Digital & Social Media Focus
Dedicated modules in digital marketing analytics, customer experience, and social media management — equipping you for both traditional marketing roles and the fast-growing digital marketing field.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which level should I start with — Diploma or Advanced Diploma?
Start with Diploma if you have at least 10 years of formal education and are new to logistics and operations. Enter at Advanced Diploma if you already hold a Diploma (from SCI or elsewhere) or have completed 12 years of formal education. Our admissions team can confirm the right starting point.
What's the difference between full-time and part-time study?
Both modes lead to the same qualification. Full-time runs 15 hours per week. Part-time is 6 hours per week of evening or weekend classes — designed for working professionals.
Can international students join on a Student Pass?
Yes. As an EduTrust-certified PEI, SCI sponsors Student Pass applications for international students enrolled in our full-time courses. Our admissions team handles the full process with ICA, which typically takes 4 weeks. Part-time programmes are not eligible for Student Pass sponsorship.
How long does it take to complete both levels?
Roughly 24 months back-to-back if studied full-time (12 months Diploma + 12 months Advanced Diploma).
What if I want to progress to a university degree?
Graduates of our Advanced Diploma can apply for bachelor’s degree top-up programmes (typically Year 3 entry) at selected local private universities and overseas universities. Our pathway consulting team can advise on suitable options.
What employers do your graduates work with?
Our graduates work across diverse industries in Singapore — consumer brands and retail, banks and financial services, technology and e-commerce companies, agencies and marketing consultancies, hospitality and tourism, and B2B businesses. The combination of traditional marketing fundamentals and digital/social media expertise makes graduates versatile across both established and emerging marketing roles. Our graduates work across Singapore’s logistics sector — freight forwarders, e-commerce logistics providers, manufacturing supply chains, port operations, air cargo handlers, and third-party logistics companies.
What if my English isn't strong enough?
All Diploma students with English proficiency concerns are enrolled in our IELTS English classes alongside their Diploma classes at no extra cost.
