Diploma Course Information

This specialized diploma course is designed to prepare students to become Chinese language educators. The program focuses on developing both practical teaching techniques and a strong foundation in modern Chinese pedagogical theories. Students will gain the expertise needed to teach Chinese confidently and competently across a variety of educational settings. Graduates from this course have the option to advance their knowledge further by enrolling in our Advanced Diploma in Professional Chinese Teaching.

Entry Requirements

Age: 15 years old and above

Academic Level:

  • At least 9 years of formal education or equivalent; or
  • Pass in SCI’s placement test; or

Language Proficiency:

  • GCE O-Level grade C6 and better for Chinese; or
  • Pass SCI’s language proficiency test or equivalent.
