Course Information
The Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level Examination stands as a nationally coordinated assessment administered jointly by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) and the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicates. The GCE O-Level certificate holds international recognition, serving as a qualifying credential for tertiary education in Commonwealth nations and the United States of America (USA). Moreover, Singapore Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, and Private Institutions mandate the GCE O-Level certificate as an admission requirement for prospective students.

Compulsory Subjects

Optional Subjects
- Principles of Accounts (POA)
- Chinese Language

*Optional subject is available only if there is a minimum of 5 students.
**To be eligible for consideration for admission to the various courses in Polytechnic, applicants must obtain the minimum points required for the net ELR2B2 (5 subjects) aggregate score.
***To be eligible for consideration for admission to Junior College, applicants must obtain minimum points required for the net L1R5 (6 subjects) aggregate score.
Entry Requirements
Age: 15 years old and above
Academic Level: Students must have successfully completed Secondary 3 or equivalent.
Language Proficiency: At least a Pass in SCI’s placement test.

Terms & Intake
- Term One: 1 Oct – 31 Mar
- Term Two: 1 Apr – 30 Sept
- Intake: Every month
Lesson Time
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm
After-school Tuition and Extracurricular Activities: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm (except Oct & Nov)
*There will be no lessons conducted during public holidays and school holidays.
Mode of Assessment
Internal Assessment:
- Monthly Quizzes
- End-of-term examinations
- Homework assignments
External Assessment:
GCE O-Level Examination
- Registration for GCE O-Level Examination is in March
- English & Mother Tongue Oral Examination and Listening Comprehension will be held between June and August; Other subject examinations will be held between October and November.
