About the Holiday Study Trip & Camp

Why a Holiday Study Trip in Singapore?

Singapore is one of the safest and most education-focused countries in the world — a city where global business, multicultural heritage, and academic excellence come together. A holiday study trip here offers international students far more than a typical school tour: it’s a chance to experience studying in Singapore, visit world-class universities and attractions, immerse in different cultures, and build confidence through travel — all within a fully supervised, structured programme.

For schools and education agents, our Study Trip is a turnkey experience: you decide the goals, we build and run the programme. For individual students, our seasonal camps offer a ready-to-join experience during summer and winter breaks.

What Makes Our Programme Different

Fully Customisable for Groups

Schools and education agents can customise every aspect — duration, focus, schedule, activities, and academic component — to match the group’s goals and budget. Available year-round.

Individual Camps in Summer & Winter

Individual students can join our seasonal fixed-itinerary camps during summer and winter breaks — a structured way to experience Singapore without needing to organise a group.

Academic + Experiential Balance

Programmes combine classroom learning with cultural visits, university tours, team-building, and Singapore attractions — making it a genuine study trip, not just a tour.

All-Inclusive & Supervised

Accommodation, meals, transport within Singapore, classes, activities, and supervision are all included. You handle flights, visa, insurance, and personal expenses — we handle everything else.

What Students Gain

A Holiday Study Trip is more than a holiday — it’s a structured learning and growth experience:

Academic Exposure

Classroom sessions at SCI introduce students to Singapore’s education style, with content tailored to the group’s academic focus or age group — from English language and Math fundamentals to STEM and cultural studies.

Cross-Cultural Experience

Students immerse in Singapore’s multicultural environment — visiting heritage districts, interacting with locals, trying diverse cuisines, and gaining global perspective that classroom learning alone cannot provide.

Personal Growth

Travelling and learning in a new country builds independence, confidence, and adaptability — qualities that benefit students long after the trip ends. For many students, it’s their first major travel experience.

Singapore is consistently ranked among the safest countries in the world for travellers, with a well-connected MRT network, English as the working language, and clear regulatory standards for educational programmes — making it one of the most reassuring destinations for parents sending their children on an international study trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between booking as a group and as an individual?

Groups (schools, education agents, organisations) can book any time of year, customise every aspect of the programme — duration, focus, activities, schedule — and travel as a self-contained cohort. A minimum of 10 pax per group is required. Individuals join our fixed-itinerary seasonal camps during summer and winter breaks, alongside other students from various countries. The fixed itinerary applies to individuals because customising for a single student isn’t feasible.

Customisation is only available for group bookings (typically through your school or an education agent). Individual students join our fixed-itinerary seasonal camps.

We require a minimum of 10 pax for groups. The programme cost per student will naturally vary based on group size (larger groups will have lower cost per student). Speak with our admissions team for quotation.

Individual camps are run only during summer and winter school breaks. Specific dates are published in advance — typically several months ahead. Contact our admissions team for the current camp schedule.

For most short trips (under 30 days), students travel on a short-term visit pass rather than a Student Pass. Visa requirements vary by nationality — confirm with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) or your local Singapore embassy. We can provide invitation letters and supporting documentation for visa applications where required.

SCI staff supervise students throughout the programme — from airport pickup to daily activities to evening accommodation. For group bookings, accompanying teachers from the visiting school are also typically present. For individual camps, SCI staff handle full supervision, with daily updates available to parents on request.

Activities are a blend of academic and experiential — classroom sessions at SCI, visits to Singapore universities (NUS, NTU), cultural districts (Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam), iconic attractions (Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios), food tours, and team-building exercises. Group bookings can customise the mix; individual camps follow a fixed itinerary.

Cost depends on duration, group size, accommodation level, and activity selection. For group bookings, we provide custom quotations. For individual camps, package prices are published with the camp schedule. Contact our admissions team for current pricing.

Tell us during the application process. Singapore is one of the world’s most diverse food environments — we can accommodate most dietary requirements (halal, vegetarian, kosher, allergies).
Many students who experience a study trip return for our longer programmes — AEIS, O-Level, IELTS, or our Diploma courses. The study trip is a low-commitment way to experience SCI and Singapore before deciding on a longer pathway.
