About Logistics and Supply Chain Management Course
Why Logistics and Supply Chain?
Singapore is one of the world’s largest logistics hubs — home to the world’s busiest container port, a leading air cargo gateway, and a strategic position at the heart of Southeast Asian trade routes. The logistics and supply chain sector employs hundreds of thousands of people across freight forwarding, warehousing, procurement, international trade, and supply chain technology.
Demand for trained logistics professionals continues to grow as global e-commerce, manufacturing supply chains, and trade complexity expand. The skills are transferable across industries — every business with physical products needs logistics expertise.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of jobs can I get after completing this Diploma?
Graduates typically enter entry-level operational roles in logistics, freight forwarding, procurement, warehousing, and supply chain functions. The industrial attachment often leads directly to employment with the host company. Common starting roles include logistics coordinator, procurement assistant, warehouse executive, and freight documentation executive.
Is the industrial attachment guaranteed? What if I can't find a placement?
Industrial attachment is a compulsory module, and our team supports students in identifying suitable placements with logistics employers in Singapore. If you cannot complete the IA due to a valid reason (e.g. no Training Work Pass, medical reasons), you can complete a project work module instead.
Can international students join on a Student Pass?
Yes. As an EduTrust-certified PEI, SCI sponsors Student Pass applications for international students enrolled in our full-time courses. Our admissions team handles the full process with ICA, which typically takes 4 weeks.
Can I progress to a more advanced qualification after this Diploma?
Graduates wishing to specialise further in operations management can consider transferring to our Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Operations Management, which builds on similar foundational knowledge with more advanced operational and management content.
Do I need work experience to apply?
Work experience is not required. Our entry pathway is flexible — applicants need either at least 3 O-Level passes, 10 years of formal education, a pass in SCI’s placement test, or to qualify as a mature candidate (30+ years with 8+ years of work experience).
What employers do your graduates work with?
Our graduates have built careers across Singapore’s logistics sector — freight forwarders, e-commerce logistics providers, manufacturing supply chains, port operations, air cargo handlers, and third-party logistics companies. The industrial attachment often leads directly to ongoing employment with the host company.
What if my English isn't strong, will I be able to follow the lessons?
A common concern, and one we’ve solved. All Diploma students with English proficiency concerns are enrolled in our IELTS English classes alongside their Diploma classes at no extra cost. You can build your English skills in parallel with your logistics studies.
