About Accountancy Course
Why Accountancy?
Accountancy is the foundation language of business. Every organisation — from start-ups to multinationals, from public sector to non-profits — needs skilled accounting professionals. Singapore’s strong financial services sector and role as a regional finance hub make accountancy qualifications especially valuable for career stability and progression.
Our Two-level Progression
Our Accountancy qualifications are designed as a progressive pathway. You can join at the level that matches your current education and career stage, and continue upward as your career grows:
Diploma
Covers foundational accounting knowledge — bookkeeping and accounting, cost accounting, business statistics — alongside core business subjects in law, economics, information systems, management, and marketing. Ideal entry point for those new to accountancy.
Advanced Diploma
Builds on the Diploma with three internationally-recognised LCCI Level 3 qualifications — Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, and Advanced Business Statistics — combined with advanced business management coursework. Prepares you for senior accounting positions and supports progression to professional certifications (ACCA, CPA) and bachelor’s degree programmes.
What Makes Our Programme Different
Flexible study modes
Full-time for immersive learning, or part-time evening/weekend classes for working professionals — same qualification, different schedule to suit your life.
Six intakes per year
Start in January, March, May, July, September, or November — flexibility to match your timeline rather than wait for fixed term dates.
Stackable qualifications
Diploma graduates can progress directly into our Advanced Diploma, with seamless credit recognition between levels — grow your qualifications step by step rather than committing upfront.
LCCI knowledge included
Our Advanced Diploma incorporates three LCCI Level 3 modules — Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, and Advanced Business Statistics — at no additional cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which level should I start with — Diploma or Advanced Diploma?
Start with Diploma if you have at least 10 years of formal education and are new to logistics and operations. Enter at Advanced Diploma if you already hold a Diploma (from SCI or elsewhere) or have completed 12 years of formal education. Our admissions team can confirm the right starting point.
What is LCCI, and why is it included in the Advanced Diploma?
LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) qualifications are internationally recognised certifications widely accepted by employers in accounting and finance roles. Our Advanced Diploma incorporates three LCCI Level 3 knowledge — in Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, and Advanced Business Statistics — at no additional cost.
Can international students join on a Student Pass?
Yes. As an EduTrust-certified PEI, SCI sponsors Student Pass applications for international students enrolled in our full-time courses. Our admissions team handles the full process with ICA, which typically takes 4 weeks. Part-time programmes are not eligible for Student Pass sponsorship.
How long does it take to complete both levels?
Roughly 24 months back-to-back if studied full-time (12 months Diploma + 12 months Advanced Diploma).
What if I want to progress to a university degree?
Graduates of our Advanced Diploma can apply for bachelor’s degree top-up programmes (typically Year 3 entry) at selected local private universities and overseas universities. Our pathway consulting team can advise on suitable options.
What employers do your graduates work with?
Our graduates work across diverse industries in Singapore — accounting firms and audit practices, multinational corporations, local SMEs, banks and financial services, professional services, manufacturing and trading companies, and the public sector. Every organisation needs accounting professionals, which makes the skill set highly transferable across industries.
What if my English isn't strong enough?
All Diploma students with English proficiency concerns are enrolled in our IELTS English classes alongside their Diploma classes at no extra cost.
