On 30 April 2025,
Spring College International (SCI) students embarked on an eye-opening learning journey at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). This visit gave our students a unique behind-the-scenes experience to understand how the SPCA rescues, heals, and rehomes animals in need.
During the visit, students explored the shelter and met some adorable rescue animals, learning about their stories and the challenges they have overcome. They were inspired to write messages of hope and encouragement on post-it notes, which were displayed as part of the SPCA’s community support initiative.
The group also enjoyed a quick stop at the SPCA shop, where every purchase directly supports the care of rescued animals. This immersive experience helped our students appreciate the vital work done by the SPCA and deepened their empathy towards animal welfare.
At SCI, we value learning experiences that broaden our students’ perspectives and inspire kindness towards all living beings.
