GDPR Compliance

As of 25th May 2018, many organisations, even those outside the European Union (EU), will be accountable for all their data under a new EU regulation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The regulation is designed to protect all EU citizens’ data privacy and to harmonise all data privacy laws across Europe. GDPR will affect what data you have, how you use it, where it is stored, and how long it can be stored for.

Transparency and Consent:

i) By submitting the enquiry form and, or application form in both online and offline channel, you are agreeable for us to obtain your personal data. We will be using the information you provided to contact you on your enquiry and, or course registration for further communication by our internal recruitment and, or marketing team.

ii) By submitting the registration form, you are agreeable for us to process your personal data to the relevant third party for administrative purposes which included, but not limited to  student pass application.

iii) By signing the student contract, you are agreeable for us to process your personal data to the relevant third party for administrative purposes which included but not limited to FPS scheme purchasing, medical insurance purchasing.

iv) By signing the Marketing Released Form, you are agreeable for us to use your photo,  name, courses that you studied, your occupation/ graduation direction, examination  results for marketing purpose which is not limited to SCI existing printed, online marketing channel but also the future to be developed marketing channel.

 

Right of Access:

Spring College International will provide the copies of the student’s / prospective student’s personal data that we obtained for free upon requested by EU Residents.

 

Right to be Forgotten:

Spring College International will remove the personal data of EU residents within 14 days upon request.

 

Rights to Portability:

Students can, on request have their personal data transferred to a third party or another controller.
